VINPROM PESHTERA is a private company with its head-office located in Plovdiv, the second-largest city in Bulgaria. Its winery is based about 50km away from Plovdiv, in Peshtera -- a small town situated in the traditional vine growing region Trakia Valley.
VINPROM PESHTERA has a wide range of products and possesses some of the most famous brands in Bulgaria. Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Pamid grape make up the selection for our red wines. The company is well-known for its high-quality red wine trademark Bacchus Selection -- premium wines made of noble Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot grape, popular with its unmistakable taste.
PESHTERA WINERY is also an acknowledged producer of a range of rakias (grape brandies) that are obtained from selected sorts -- Misket and Muskat grapes -- through a traditional Bulgarian technology. Among the most popular brands in Bulgaria are Peshterska Muscat Rakia, Peshterska Selection Rakia, Peshterska Special Rakia, Peshterska Matured Rakia and Peshterska Grape Rakia.
